Lots of fun was had by all at the annual Christmas party held on December 15. A big thank you goes out to party committee Bethany
Bletsch, Ruby Goodwin, Nancy
Tubb, LaTrelle Locks and Angela
McCorkle. The food was wonderful, as usual, highlighted by Bud
McCorkle's fabulous brisket and a festive
meringue yule log dessert prepared by Millie
Scwabb. Guild members answered the call from the Brownwood hospital for Wee Care quilts especially needed in the winter months. More quilts can always be used. Household products, food, clothes and even a sewing machine were collected for The Ark domestic violence shelter and were delivered to the facility following the meeting. The annual gift exchange featured a grown up version of musical chairs and everyone enjoyed their gifts of fun quilt-related items. President Bethany
Bletsch was presented with a bag of goodies from the members by Angela
McCorkle thanking her for her leadership and hard work this past year. See separate post for more party photos.
