February 2010 Show and Tell

Benita Pipes - "Harriet's Baskets" a Civil War reproduction quilt from Bonnie Blue purchased at the Dallas Quilt Show. There are 60 small pieced baskets.

Sherri Marshall - "Shooting Starts" from Debbie Maddy workshop. Quilted by Angela McCorkle.


Doris Rice - "Pioneer Sampler" by Eleanor Burns. Pieced and quilted by Doris.
Doris Rice - "Bluebonnet Lone Star" pieced and quilted by Doris. She will be teaching a class on this technique at the Quilting House in Breckenridge.
Linda Brown showed a crazy quilt throw that her daughters made.
Angela McCorkle - "American Beauty". This will be a BOM available from Quilts with a Heart. Pieced by Doris Rice and quilted by Angela.
Pat Karnes - "Fun and Don" quilt is finally DONE! This quilt was from a class at The Flying Needle in Stephenville taked by several members in 2008.


Pat Karnes completed a "Dick and Jane" quilt to hang in her quilt room


Nancy Tubb - "Criss Cross" This quilt is made from batiks and was a kit purchased at the Houston International Quilt Show. It was quilted by Doris Rice.


Millie Schwab made this "Cats" quilts for her granddaugther. There are 89 cats. It was quilted by Angela McCorkle.


Joyce Kelley said she would rather make 10 quilt blocks than one apron!
