Old Business
The coffee social was discussed and the general consensus was to
continue with the social time from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. but discontinue the coffee
and food.
The Block of the Month program will start again in August with
directions for the blocks to be returned in September. Volunteers are responsible for furnishing
instructions to members. Also, a short
demo about the block should be presented.
New Business
Robin Moody has volunteered to be the CPS representative.
There was discussion on the use of the charity change collection as
there is sufficient money in the benevolent fund to cover unforeseen needs for
the 2012-13 fiscal year. This decision
was tabled for discussion when Norma Bessent presents her report on deserving
charities in September. Anyone with
ideas on charities should contact Norma.
