Shaula Patton of the Feathered Star quilt shop in Clyde, TX presented the October program for the Brownwood Quilters Guild.  Shaula talked about Bonnie Hunter's method for taming and using your scraps.  She brought many beautiful scrap quilts to show including the Scrappy Trip Around the World, Wild and Goosey, Scrappy Pineapple, and Moonshine.  Shaula said that according to Bonnie Hunter we should cut our scraps at the end of each
project so they will be ready to use when we need them.  She talked about what sizes to cut to and how to store them.  Bonnie's website www.quiltville.com has a lot of information pertaining to this topic.  It also has a lot of free patterns using scraps.
