MEETING
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by guild President, Joy
Ivy. Roll was called.
There were 22 members present. No
visitors.
STANDING
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Doris Rice – The Row by Row group showed their butterfly rows; Becky,
Cindy, & Shelia. If you would like
to add another row, you may do so. The
choice is yours of what you add. June
will be the reveal of the rows put together.
The Drawing for those completing their top will be done then. Grand Prize will be a “quilt class bag”.
Sunshine Report: A get well
card was sent to Alice Young.
Strip Exchange: May will be
red, black & white fabrics.
CPS Bags Report: No report
given.
Wee Care Report: No report
given.
Website: Vickie has put all
quilt show info on the website.
Quilt Show Report: Sherri
Marshall asked everyone to bring stash booth items on Thursday , so the ladies
will have time to set up. Millie Schwab
will call mayors & HPU president to set up time for them to choose their
quilts. It was decided to have Wee Care
quilts for sale. They will be priced @
$35 ea. & receiving blankets for $25.
There was discussion about having someone to watch the Route 66
display. It was decided that it would be
located to where those at the info booth
as well as members could do this without someone standing there.
General
Business: Nominating committee was
chosen. Ruby Goodwin, Shelia Smith &
Daisy Huntsinger were asked to present nominations for new officers at the May
meeting. Sherri Marshall & Vickie
Mazurek was asked to get the next guild quilt (for dues payments). Cindy Hadley, Becky Martin & Doniene
Fulagar were asked to choose the quilt
& fabric for next years Donation Quilt.

made repairs to the quilt.
Cindy Hadley – Butterfly row by row.
Elaine Anderson – Baltimore Bliss; made by her Mother, Stella
Burns. Elaine hand quilted it.
Alice Young – Pillow made by Cindy Hadley.
Becky Martin – Butterfly row by row.
Wanda Jackson – Hexagon quilt, “It’s My Door Prize”. Purse made of crocheted scarves.
Millie Schwab - Wee Care quilt.
