October Show and Tell

Becky received much applause as she showed the 16 CPS bags she made.
One was made after each day of radiation treatment for breast cancer.

 Millie made a "Snuggle Blanket" for Wee Care.
 Millie added interest to nine patch quilt with the happy sunflowers she cut free hand and appiqued.
 A quick and easy bowtie quilt from Millie. 
 An equally pretty back on the bowtie.
 "Top Secret" one of Doris's  blocks that was published in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine.

 A messenger bag made from "She Who Sews" fabric.
 Lana's husband races boats, this is one of many racing t-shirt quilts she's made for auctions.
 She had some left over, so she put them on the quilt back as well.
 Still more she had left, so she made another.
Ruby hand quilted her "Bear Paw" quilt.She said her late husband drove her all over Texas to collect shirting fabrics for it and none are repeated.
 Ruby smiles as she shows the receiving blanket Joy made for  Wee Care.
 Doniene's "Joys of Christmas" sampler quilt. 
She intends to have one made for every bed in her home by next Christmas. 5 more to go !
 The quilt backing was bought at an exceptionally good price.
 She won the September block of the month exchange and took on a challenge...of sorts.
She brought it back this month completed !
Vickie is showing a jewelry pouch she received as a birthday gift from Doris.
Fat quarter winner was Robin.
 BOM winner was Elaine.
Door prize winners were Nancy
 and Biolanda.
Penny Auction winners were Nancy, Joy and Sherri.
