August 2017 Monthly Meeting


 Show & Tell

 Millie Schwab: A finished row-by-row quilt. The patterns came from Vita Weehunt's shop.
 Jessica Reynolds: Double Wedding Ring quilt made for an upcoming wedding.
 Laynie Evans, Jan Cates granddaughter, made this pillow using a quilt as you go technique. She entered it in the district 4-H competition and won a second place ! Way to go girl !
 Gladys Paul made a "Sausage" pillow case and 
 a Christmas table runner.
 Vita Weehunt calls this quilt "Cascade" made from a Missouri Star quilt pattern.
 Joy Ivy was given this hand-pieced "Grandmother's Flower Garden" 
quilt top from a friends estate. 
 Karen Woodcox: Callie's Watermelon Quilt, made from left over first birthday decoration fabric. 
 Look at this quilt label Karen made for the watermelon quilt !
 Karen also made this wedding quilt for her daughter.
Mildred Turner shows a 1930's friendship quilt that was made for a lady from Bangs.
August Program  was presented by Jessica Reynolds on how to make blocks using 
Moda's "Cup Cake Recipe".
