September 2017 Monthly Meeting

Deborah also showed this super cute halloween wall hanging that has 
pumpkins lights on it !.....she's sew ready for fall !
  Deborah shows this pretty machine embroidered table runner.
 Gladys showed a snowman table runner she's working on.
 Gladys Paul calls this quilt "Midnight Mischief"....cute !

 Gladys Paul - made a quilters tote complete with lots of pockets 
and even a place to hold a cutting mat.
 Debra Lehman showed a quilt made for her granddaughter.

Judy Northcutt shows a quilt that belonged to her mother. Judy's mom cut the Dutch Dolls out in the 1960's. Judy appliqued and completed the quilt for her granddaughter.
 Wanda Jackson showed a Christmas quilt she embroidered 
and Angela McCorkle quilted it for her. ...sew pretty ! 
 Vickie Mazurek shows 3 bed runners she made for the Hospice Care Unit in Abilene. 
This is the 1st one made from Pat Sloan fabrics.
 #2 strip quilt made by foundation piecing.
  #3 made from squash blossom blocks that Becky Martin won in the BOM drawing several months back. Becky gave them to Vickie because she REALLY liked the block !
Vickie made a fall and a Christmas wall hanging for her mother Helen,
 who resides in South Dakota.
Helen is 93 years young ! Awesome !
The September program was presented by Marijane Gilley.....How to make fabric pumpkins.
