The October meeting of the Brownwood Quilters' Guild was held at
"Quilts With A Heart Retreat Center" in Priddy,Texas. Guild members had a chance to tour the newly built facility owned by Angela McCorkle.
After the business portion of the meeting, Angela presented a program for the guild members featuring some of the new products she carries in her quilt shop located inside the retreat center.
Afterward we enjoyed a potluck lunch and some members stayed to sew on our upcoming Christmas exchange, the Birthday Cake.

Jan Cate shared her "bigger than intended" pumpkin table runner.
It was great to see Doniene Fullagar ! She shared a quilt she calls "Alice's 9 Patch"- made from former member Alice Young's stash. Alice was our guild's oldest member. She passed away several years ago.
Lana Webb - Birthday quilt
Lana shared this T-shirt quilt to be auctioned off at a boat racers banquet in Phoenix. The proceeds will benefit boat racers who were injured while participating in the sport.
Vickie Mazurek shared her completed Farmer's Wife.
Millie Schwab shared her birthday cake table topper that guild members are making for the Christmas gift exchange this year.
Millie is making a lighthouse quilt and asked opinions about setting it together.
