This month's BOM was presented by Debra Agnew.
(Be sure to click on page 2 at the bottom of page 1 for the rest of the directions).
We are doing something new for the BOM program starting this October. A sampler quilt !
Each person who is signed up to present the BOM thus far, should choose a 12" block (12 1/2" unfinished) that they like...the only requirement is the size.
BOM presenters can be found HERE.
Every guild member who makes the block will keep her own block. You can use what ever fabric line you want to....example - Christmas fabrics, batiks, blue, or scrappy, etc .....you choose.
At the end of the 12 month BOM , each person who participated will have her own sampler quilt and can finish it like you want to.
BUT HERE'S THE BEST PART !!
When you bring your block back to each guild meeting, (starting
in November), you'll get one check by your name......
Don't worry a check by your name in this case is a good thing !
For every check you have at the end of the 12 month BOM program, we will double that !.... and your name will be put in a drawing to win a $150.00 gift certificate to a quilt shop (which is yet to be determined)
For instance if you bring your blocks 12 times during the year, you'll get your name in the drawing 24 times. If you only bring your block 10 times, you name will be in the drawing 20 times....etc.
We hope to get great participation doing the BOM !
This way everybody is a winner !
